Itinerary Help - Doolin, Dingle, Galway??

Hello all!

I am having a very difficult time crafting an itinerary for a trip to Ireland this March. We are four young friends (in our late 20s) who are used to traveling together and are perfectly fine with fast-paced itineraries. We have three full days in Ireland (not counting our travel days in and out of the country) and we will have already visited other places before landing in Ireland, so we will not be adjusting to a large time difference.

We really want to make it to the Cliffs of Moher - this is our non-negotiable. We are, however, having a difficult time figuring out what to do with our other two days. I have heard (and read) many amazing things about Dingle, but it is worth trying to make the drive from Doolin? Will this consume too much of our time? We will also need to head back to Dublin on the third day from wherever we land. If we are not able to make it to Dingle, my thought is that we will split our time between Doolin & Galway. Is this a better option?

Any advice is helpful! Thank you.

Flew to Dublin last year and drove to Doolin and spent 3 nights. Plan for a 4 hour drive if you stop in the Burren. Unless you want to stay and marvel at the Cliffs they may only take a maximum of 2 hours. You can continue on from the Cliffs to a the resort town of Lahinch. Weather permitting take the ferry from Doolin out to the Aran Island of Inisheer and pour a few down at Tigh Ned!

I wouldnt try to make it to Dingle. It would be a waste of time driving. Will you have a car? I would go to Galway, stay there for the 3 days and spend one day seeing the Cliffs/Burren, another day exploring Connemara, and perhaps the 3rd day seeing the city of Galway.
