Itinerary Help!!

We're travelling to Ireland with our adult children in September.

Here's what I have so far:
9/20 -- Arrive Dublin 8:50 AM, pick up rental cars (2) then to Kilkenny
9/21 -- Kilkenny to Kinsale
9-22 & 9/23 -- Kinsale to Cahersiveen (Ring of Kerry)
9/24 -- Cahersiveen to Doolin
9/25 -- Doolin to Dublin area (Malahide? Howth?)
9/26 -- 10:50 flight back to the States
Is this too ambitious? We only have reservations 9/20-9/23, so we can change the last 2 nights.
We aren't going into Dublin because we've been there before and feel the countryside is more charming. Any thoughts/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I don't think it's too ambitious, but I like to travel quickly. What are your plans from Cahersiveen to Doolin?

I'd think about staying further south and doing the Dingle Peninsula. You can easily travel from Cahersiveen to Dingle, then have plenty of time to do Slea Head, and you can hit Conor Pass on your way out the next day.

Even if you're planning on the Cliffs of Moher as part of your Doolin adventures, I'd seriously still reconsider. You can do the Cliffs of Kerry instead, given the time you'll spend on the ring. Plus, there are plenty of equally spectacular cliffs on Dingle in my opinion.

You can head through Adare and Limerick on your way back to Dublin. Just a thought!!
