How about somewhere on the coast in County Clare as you make your way from Galway to Dingle. We liked Lahinch, others like Doolin. Ennis is nice too.
In County Clare besides the obvious Burren and Cliffs of Moher, we stopped at Poulnabrone Dolmen, Kilfanora to see the crosses, Kilkee Cliffs and drove the Loop Head peninsula.
