I'm looking for some travel advice. We are planning a trip, and have a night in Kilkenny booked, then a gap night, then several nights in Kilkenny. Where would be a good place to stay somewhere enroute from Kilkenny to Galway? We had originally planned to head over to Dingle but it seems like that's too much driving for one night's stay, and we were having trouble finding accommodations in Dingle anyways. I was looking at Ennis but was unsure if there was anything worthwhile to see/do there, and I'm not having a lot of luck finding a place to stay there anyways.
For that same night, we are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and are looking for a place with room enough for all of us and it's tough. Not many family rooms, and the kids really need two beds. Suggestions? I feel like I'm wasting a lot of time emailing B&Bs and waiting for a reply, only to hear they don't have space for us.
