I am a relative newby to thoroughbred horse racing, owning small shares in two horses. As we will be in Ireland (Tipperary) for a 3 week home exchange this summer, I am keen to visit a couple of the famous Irish stud farms. I already have Coolmore Stud on the list. Any other recommendations?
Thanks.
You will enjoy the Irish National Stud in Kildare.

If you’re in/near Dublin in August the Dublin Horse Show is a good way to spend a horse day, especially watching the Nations Cup. http://dublinhorseshow.com/equestrian-information/international-jumping
Another vote for Irish National Stud. Amazing facility and history; excellent, informative guided tour. If you're arriving in Dublin, it looks like you'll drive right through Kildare en route to/from Tipperary. https://irishnationalstud.ie/
