Irish dancing lesson

HI there,

I thought it could be fun to try and book a little dance lesson for us while we are in Ireland this summer. Kids are 11 and 8
We are saying in the south.... any recommendations?

Thanks

Sharon

Hi Sharon, would you be interested in learning some set-dancing? Our traditional form of social-dancing, a bit like American square-dancing and the same type of dancing made famous by Leonardo DiCaprio down-below-decks in the movie 'Titanic'! Well if so, give a call to Christy MacGearailt in the Blasket islands Centre on the Dingle Peninsula. An excellent teacher....
If you prefer mainstream 'Irish Dancing', i.e. Riverdance style and the more competitive type, then there are many Irish dancing schools in pretty much every town and village.
