AshfordCastle, Cong. Had the added advantage of Ireland school of Falconry on the grounds and you can go for a Hawk Walk.

We stayed at Ballyseede in Tralee last month and really enjoyed it!

We also stayed at Ballyseed Castle last month. Make sure you’re not going to be in the Lodge: that is a separate building on the castle grounds.
We really liked Kinnitty Castle in Kinnitty.
Avoid Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel near Dublin .The name is misleading. It’s not a castle at all.
Be aware that staying in castles happens to be much more expensive than a regular hotel.
