Ireland with toddlers

Hello all!

My wife and I will be traveling to Ireland at the end of March and through early April for 13 days. We are bringing our two little boys (ages 4 and 2). We will be flying into Dublin and have a wedding to attend near the end of our trip in Belfast. We are flying out of Belfast.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for traveling with little ones? A number of the places of interest are museums, tours, pubs, etc. but I don't know how kid friendly everything might be.

Thanks in advance!

Greetings from Ireland!
You'll find pretty much everywhere is very kid friendly in Ireland, both North & South. The only thing to watch for is that children are not allowed in pubs after 9pm in the Republic of Ireland. Its the law and most pubs implement it, occasionally some will not and let tourists bring their young children into the pub after 9pm to allow the adults listen to the live music, which is invariably performed after 9pm. but speaking from experience and as a citizen this does make locals uncomfortable as most of us wouldnt bring our own children to a pub after 9pm.
If you need some tips on where there is good music in any city before 9pm, drop me a line, theres plenty of good options.
Enjoy the holiday!

Thank you for the quick reply and the information! I was wondering about the pubs and am glad that you mentioned that restrictions.
