Ireland wide discount card

Is there such a thing as card good for the whole of Ireland for castles, ruins, gardens etc. ? We are traveling from Dublin south and around to Conemara. We would never be anywhere more than two days. IS it worth it to be a discount card in Dublin if we are there just a day and half?

The Heritage Card from Heritage Ireland covers admission to many historical sites and ruins but is not what I would call a discount card. We broke even on the cost but we were in Ireland for a month. It’s very convenient to have it and we stopped at several places we would have otherwise skipped.

If you are referring to the Dublin Pass, then do the sums and see if you will save money. It all depends on what attractions you are wanting to visit.

I've also used the Heritage Card during a two/three week trip to Ireland. I'd identified a list of sites I definitely wanted to visit and did the sums. I also found that I used it for a quick visit to other sites as we passed and wouldn't otherwise have bothered to visit. We came out ahead on costs. It also meant we could break journey to use their toilet facilities....
