Ireland Tour Alums

Just a note to say that Tommy and Saundra O'Sullivan from the Courthouse Pub (the bright blue one) in Dingle have a great new CD titled "Safe Home". I'm really enjoying it. Available on itunes and elsewhere.

My group had a brisket BBQ at the pub the night we arrived in Dingle. Great memories of good food and great music.

Eric,
Thanks for the update. My 8 Day tour group went there one evening last Sept., a fun time and good music. Fond memories. Our tour spent 3 nights in Dingle and I enjoyed the town very much. It's a real town with colorful shops and a nice relaxed vibe, friendly people of course. RS changed the 3 nights to 2 nights for the 2018 tours. A shame I think.

Hi Judy, greetings from Ireland.
Presently leading a 8 day Rick Steves Ireland tour and in beautiful Kilkenny enjoying the sunshine.
To be honest, its been a great development for the tour to have a night in Kilkenny instead of a third night in Dingle. (I love Dingle, i live there and have a wee hotel there). Dropping the third night in Dingle has created the wonderful trade-off that means we can enjoy the history of Kilkenny, and visit its fine castle, but most importantly also spend an afternoon in Glendalough in the Wicklow mountains.
So overall its been a positive development, come back some soon :)
Slainte!
