Ireland to begin easing restrictions in May--but don't plan your trip just yet.

Ireland has been under severe lockdown conditions since last Christmas. The Irish Prime Minister said that easing of the lockdown would begin slowly starting on May 10. He also said that the aviation, hotel and hospitality business should be back to normal by late July.

All of this will be reviewed as they get to each new step of opening up. There was no mention of international travelers from outside the country but the Irish may be able to travel internationally by late July.
