Ireland suggestions Kinsale to Dublin

What would you suggest? We will be driving, we have 2+ days and 2 nights without any plans. Leaving Kinsale in the morning and arriving at Dublin airport 3 days later. We have already seen Dublin, and Dingle, & The Rock of Cashel. Looking for sites and or experiences along the south east coast. No kids, just healthy adults. Any suggestions? Thank You in advance.

Kilkenny is wonderful - be sure to have dinner and a drink at Langtons. You could stay there also but there are wonderful B&B's in the area which would be as nice and more reasonably priced. Powerscourt Gardens is worth at least a half of a day. And the Wicklow Mtns are wonderful if it's a clear day. Actually, if you just ask the locals you will discover wonderful places and come back with so many warm memories. Have a great trip.

Depends on the route you take. If you come up through the country, you can stop at Kilkenny, cute little town.

Along the east coast, there are several, you actually can't go wrong. I would suggest staying at one of the smaller towns and going into the larger cities. There is Waterford, historical sights, the glass factory. Near there, there are some seaside towns to enjoy, Dunmore East, Tramore. We attended a wedding Dunmore East last year, it was beautiful. A little further inland, you have New Ross, JFK memorial park, immigration ship is in the town itself. Hooks Head is in Wexford, lighthouse, beautiful landscapes. We ate at the Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore, Waterford a few years ago, beautiful town. Wexford City has some sightseeing. Enniscorthy, a cute little town on a river was also good to visit, not a bad place to stay.

Although not on the coast, in Wicklow you may want to see Glendalough.

I didn't look into this last year when we traveling from Kinsale to Carlow but there was an area where you hiked in and there were beautiful waterfalls. I will try to look at my information, see if I saved anything for future.

I’d not leave the area without seeing Killarney National Park, Gap of Dunloe and Portamgee but that’s just me who loves nature and hiking.

4.5 drive from Killarney back to Dublin.
