Ireland study abroad pick up

My Daughter will be in Dingle for a study abroad program. We are picking her up on Thursday late afternoon, We are departing out of Shannon on Sunday morning. She would like to travel north to the Burren area, Galway, etc. We are traveling with 6 adults. Where is a good place to to stay that is centrally located to these areas?

I'm going to assume you are driving - so, in that case, just stay in Galway. It's about a 4 hrs drive from Dingle but it's a good central place to explore the Burren, Connemara, etc.. Then it's only about 1-1/2 hrs from there to Shannon airport. I love Galway.
