Because four are better than one and to give you a reason to add to your posting count. That really means that nearly everything is closed at 2000. That does put a damper on evening activities.

So last call at just 7:30 or 7:45 PM? That’s got to be significantly early for Irish citizens.
No evening Irish sporting events could have Overtime, either. Will sports need to be held in daylight hours, to ensure the players and spectators are out in time?
No private dinner parties after 8:00, either, for anyone showing hospitality in their home? Is anyone doing that right now, anyway?
Is it ironic that hospitality begins with hospital ????
