Ireland Road Trip (September 11th - September 30th)

Looking for advice about the rough outline I have of my trip through Ireland. My brother and I are doing a trip in September and we well have a rental car for the trip. Most of our time will be hiking, seeing attractions, etc. Let me know any recommendations, tips , opinions, or changes you would make for the rough itinerary we have so far.

Sept 11th - Arrive in Dublin / Explore Dublin
Sept 12- Explore rest of dublin (stay the night)
Sept 13- Wicklow Wonders and Glendaloough (stay the night in Kilkenny)
Sept 14 - Kilkenny
Sept 15-16th - Cork / Cobh / Kinsale
Sept 17 - Cork to Kilarney (Kilarney National Park)
Sept 18- Ring of Kerry Drive , explore Kilarney more if do able
Sept 19 -20th - we were thinking 2 days in the dingle peninsula
Sept 21st -22nd- Travel to Limerick / explore Limerick (we are not sure if we want one day in limerick or two)
Sept 23rd - 24th - travel to Doolin from Limerick. Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher
Sept 25th - Doolin to Galway - spend day in Galway
Sept 26th - Galway to Sligo in morning, explore sligo. sleep in sligo
Sept 27,28th,29th - for these days we were thinking of exploring Donegal, giants causeway, game of thrones locations, belfast

Let me know if you think this would be too much or if you think I should cut out / add places

Thank you!

This is a very ambitious itinerary by my standards. It looks like you'll have a lot of one-nighters, which I would avoid. It's all personal preference, of course. Personally if I were going for that many days I would eliminate some of the destinations and concentrate more on one or two regions.

Are you flying home from Dublin, or open jaw with Belfast departure? The latter will save you backtracking to Dublin, but you'll likely have a substantial rental surcharge for returning your car in a different country. When you reserve a car, make sure you inform the company of your cross-border intention if this is what you're going to do.
