We have a week before our RS London tour in October. Considering either Dublin/Belfast/Derry or Edinburgh/Glasgow/York. Thoughts? Been to Dublin, Edinburgh & York but that was along time ago.

I would go to Edinburgh and take the train back down to London. I adore Glasgow but most people don’t have it on the top of their touring list. If you went to Edinburgh, you could spend 3-4 nights there, then stop at York on the way down to London for 2-3 nights.

I agree with Kim. Logistically easier and York is 2nd best city in England.

I also agree with Edinburgh/Glasgow/York. Lots to see in all three places, and simpler to get on a train to London than dealing with ferry schedules. Of all of these places I would have to say Dublin would be my least favourite. I spent a week in Edinburgh and never got tired of it.
