Thanks for the info. This is great news!! I hope to make it to Switzerland in Sept, but if it's still closed to US tourists, I'm keeping track of what my other options in Europe are.
The operative word is "plan".... Great news as long as one understands 'plans' can change and you are prepared for changes and can roll with the flow..
According to the Irish Consulate in NY, after July 19, Ireland will accept the CDC covid card, from Americans, as proof of vaccination. You will also need a negative PCR test. With both of those, there will be no mandatory quarantine.
