Hello, my husband, our 15 yr. old son and I are planning our first visit to Ireland and I'm not sure exactly how to plan our days. We are planning on coming in May 2024, flying in and out of Shannon. We are thinking staying 10 days starting first day at Bunratty castle, folk park and medieval banquet, spend the night and get up and head over to the Loop Head Peninsula and thinking of spending the night around Kilkee and spending 2 days there sightseeing etc. Second day head up to Spanish point then on to Cliffs of Moher for 2-3 hours then on to Doolin. Thinking of spending the night around there to visit Burren National Park, visiting the caves, doing a small Burren walk and visit Aran Islands, I would like to see the wormhole. Not sure if 2 nights would be good for this or 3 nights in Doolin area. Then I'm not sure of the rest of the trip, I would like to see the Giant's Causeway, the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, dark hedges etc. I know it's about a five and half hour drive so not sure if that's doable and how long to stay up there before heading back and what way to come back, the way we came or down through Dublin? So, any advice/changes/suggestions are very much welcome. Thank you in advance :)
