Any recommendations on B&B's in Dublin? I have to go relatively cheap.
In July? That is peak tourist season, so there isn't likely to be anything you might call cheap. You can see a list of accommodations at www.discoverireland.com. I stayed at Glen Guesthouse, which was close to everything and was nice enough (and included breakfast). At the time it was cheap, but that was in February, not July.
What is cheap.. we have a room at the Albany House inn for less then 95 euros a night.. I booked about a month ago though and think prices keep going up! We wanted clean, private ensuite , and good central location.
We stayed in a Trinity College dorm room in August. It was a very basic dorm room, but we thought it was reasonable and very centrally located.
Paddy's House it's in the Ballsbridge neighborhood. It's very close to the Luas (Dublin's light rail) which can take you straight into the heart of St. Stephen's Green. Have you thought of looking into private rooms at any of the hostels in the city center. The rooms are equal to that of hotel rooms.
The Harding Hotel

Liz-I highly recommend Tinode House on Upper Drumcondra Rd. We had a really good experience there, you can't beat it. 75 euro per night for two of us last September, includes a great breakfast. Say hi to PJ for me, please. Check it out here:
