Ireland in 14 days - tour starts July 5th

Anyone else going at this time? We have free "Dingle" time, and wondering if we need to book excursions ahead of time, or once we're there.

We haven't been in Jul/Aug or taken a tour, but I wouldn't wait to schedule excursions if you already know your plan for the day. You'll be competing with your fellow tour members in addition to the usual tourists. Tickets for St. James Church concerts are same day only. Blaskett Island boat trips (from Dingle, Ventry, or Dunquin) need booking, and prepare a plan B for weather complications. The tour itinerary for Dingle may include some of the above (as I've seen a "gaggle" of RS Tour members at the church).
