Ireland Heritage Card

The website says to give the OPW 10 days to post the card. Maybe another week for mail delivery? Do you need the card before you arrive in Ireland? We just bought it at the first OPW site we visited (after doing the math to conclude that it was worth it).

Thanks for the reply. Alas, I bought it a couple weeks ago and we fly Wednesday. I should have waited. Luckily, my son flies on the 10th so if we don’t get it, he can bring.

Do you have proof you have bought the card? If so, try presenting that and explaining the card hadn't arrived before you left home....

As wasleys said - just take your receipt to the first stop on your itinerary and I'm sure they'll issue a card on the spot.

They arrived today. Yay!! For those interested, 21 days from order date. Although, i highly recommend buying onsite.
