Scheduled for Rick's Ireland 14 day tour in September--Ireland arrival day tour begins and departing on last day--Question: Which guide book to choose for the tour? Best of Ireland ( updated every other year it seems to have more details) or Ireland 2018 (updated yearly)

The more complete Ireland 2018 (already in stock) is the one that the tour department recommends you bring for your tour (under pre-tour planning). However that may have been more due to the publication date than the actual destination coverage.
Best of Ireland does not have more detail - it has about 25% less, having been condensed from the traditional book. The next edition comes out next month.
