My husband really wants to
Go
To Ireland. I’ll go but don’t know if RS 2 week in Ireland is too much. We would love any Ireland advice! Thank you

What do you mean by too much? Are there health/mobility issues that are concerning you? Or the pace of the tour?

What are your interests, budget, will you be driving or just on a tour? Have you been to Europe before, why does he want to go to Ireland, when are you going? The more information you provide the better the advice we can give.

We did a Vagabond tour that was 12 days, and we added on another 5 days on our own in Dublin. That wasn't too much for us.

GO for the 14 Day Trip!

We had been to Ireland 25+ years ago for 14 days with our teenage children. We flew into Shannon. We drove and used Rick’s books to guide us and had a blast! Only hitting the Ring of Kerry and north to Sligo. We did Doolan and the Aran Islands etc… and only lost 1 mirror, and minor scrapes.

However, my husband and I did the RS 14 day trip in 2014 and realized how much we had missed!
Going North was such an educational experience and the overwhelming realization of the struggle that had happened. We in the US can easily live in a bubble of being oblivious to the worlds history struggles. Especially today, we need to learn and remember the absurdities of power and small wars!

Bless Ukrainian 🙏❣️

We've been to Ireland three times for a total of six weeks and I'm in the planning process for a trip to pick up places we've missed, and I'm having trouble keeping it to just three weeks. We both love hiking, Guinness and trad music, so that might distort our preferences.

2016: 3 weeks; and hoping to return to see all that we missed.
