IRE050324 tour members, hello!

Eleven weeks to go before the Best of Ireland in 14 Days tour begins on May 3, 2024! This is my 6th RS tour as a solo traveler, and I've always met such congenial people on my other tours. If anyone in this forum is also booked for May 3-16, I just wanted to say hello and am looking forward to meeting you! What are you looking forward to most? I know that every day will be wonder-full, but I'm esp. excited about Ashford Castle's falcons.

Fun fact: this is the third time I've booked this Ireland tour. Got canceled in 2020 and 2021 thanks no thanks to Covid. I've never been to Ireland but really looking forward to finally taking this tour. Hoping third time's a lucky charm!

The Ashford falcon demonstration was amazing. If this is of great interest to you, I might also suggest visiting the Dingle falconry at Milltown House while in Dingle. They let you handle a wider assortment of raptors and the owner is a RS guide.

It's a great tour, I took it in 2022. Hope you have a wonderful time.

How was the tour? I'm on the August 30 version and am also looking forward to the Falconry. How were the food and music options?

Thanks!

@MattAtlanta : The tour was busy, picturesque, and exhausting! Pascal and Paul made sure that every day included more than one adventure! I was very moved by Northern Ireland and wish we would have had more time at the Titanic Museum in Belfast. I'm not a foodie, so the meals were fine but not important to me. I will say that Dingle Ahoy had the freshest, most delicious fish & chips; freshly caught takeaway stand, just off Strand Street in Dingle. Ireland has many music options, and trad was my favorite. Pascal played music on the bus as we traveled from place to place. I took notes and so now I have a playlist to remind me of the Best of Ireland. Enjoy your tour!
