Will be staying in Dublin for 8 days. We have a couple day trips arranged already but I am trying to find one from Dublin to the Galway area. Any Suggestions? We were not planning to rent an auto during our stay. Thanks! Pat

I'm sure you can take a bus from one to the other. I haven't yet used a train in Ireland but I believe they run between Dublin and Galway. Check at the busarus station for options. BusEireann sells day tours to Newgrange and Glendalough. They may have something for Galway. Most likely you will have to plan a train or bus there and back.
