hurling season in the spring?

I am spending a 5 days in Dingle and 3 days in Kenmore the last week of April, first of May and would love to see an Irish hurling match at some level. Will someone educate me on the seasons for hurling and possibly link me to a website or two for hurling or maybe gaelic football out toward Dingle or Kenmare. I took in a football match in the Cinque Terre in October, team handball at the Atlanta Olympics and I love live local sports! thanks

Greetings from Ireland, Im afraid its unlikely you'll see any hurling in Kenmare or Dingle, both are Gaelic Football hotbeds and not hurling.
There are plenty of other places to see Hurling though and the inter-county season will just be starting in the first week of May.

The Gaelic Athletic Association runs both Hurling and Gaelic Football, try and see both of our wonderful native sports.
