Has anyone here been to both Howth as well as Dunbar, Scotland? If so, are they different enough to go to both? I wanted to go to Howth last time I was in Ireland, but did not find the time. Thinking about it for the next trip, but we will likely stay a few nights in Dunbar the week prior, so I'm not sure if it is worth it. Thanks!

Howth is certainly enjoyable and worth visiting anyway (I haven't been to Dunbar exactly but I see what you mean)! I think it's worth it, but I'm not sure about the other options, if not Howth then what, go home after Dunbar? Or go to another place around Dublin? Or stay in Dublin? :)
