My family (3 adults) are arriving at the Dublin Port on the Irish ferry. Is there easy bus access to downtown or should we be doing a taxi?

A taxi is probably not much more expensive than 3 bus tickets. Taxi can solve a lot of problems re: luggage, time schedules and pick up/drop off.
