We are flying into Dublin airport from Oslo. How much time would we need in order to catch our next flight to the states?
I posted a few days ago about Dublin airport. Scroll down to see the Heads Up on Dublin Airport post. I suggest allowing about 3 hours, since you'll be going through US entry procedures in Dublin rather than in the U.S. when you land.
Thank you for the info. That sounds a little crazy! The only flights that work with our itinerary allow for a 2 hour layover from when we land (either from Oslo or London) to catch our flight to the US at noon (on united). Now I'm stressed. Gah!
They (Dublin airport and the U.S. border agents) must expect that there are connecting flights from Europe that route through Dublin with short layovers. We can only hope that they have options for you to expedite your way through the system. The airport staff did make it possible for those whose planes were boarding to advance in the line. Perhaps you can ask for help from your flight attendants, who may be able to suggest some options for you. You certainly won't be the only folks who have to deal with this scenario. Best wishes for low-stress travel!
Thank you!
