How long should we consider it will take to retrieve luggage and get through immigration upon arrival in Dublin? We are flying Aer Lingus with expected arrival time of 8:35am on a Saturday. Thanks.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have been watching the news. It seems the issues that have come up were from a couple of months ago related to people trying to fly out. More recent stories are mostly around flights to and from Europe. So I wondered if anyone had traveled from the US more recently and had issue. We will have only one checked bag for a member of our party that is staying in country. If needed we can meet up with that bag later without much distress about it.
I asked the question because the person picking us up at the airport didn't think it would take us very long (a half hour or so) to get free of the airport.
