How easy, Belfast to Dublin airport?

We are all about ease and convenience, but the difference in price between flying out of Belfast versus flying out of Dublin is huge. Belfast costs TRIPLE what a Dublin ticket costs. So we would like to get to Dublin to catch a flight out of there. How difficult is it to get up and make the trip to Dublin once the tour concludes in Belfast? Is it relatively easy, or is it a total pain? Or somewhere in between? What is the best method of travel? How long does it take? We really need to decide and get our tickets purchased, and need to decide what we want to do.

Thanks.

There is a bus that takes you from Belfast Europa Bus Center to the Dublin Airport in about 1 hour, 45 minutes. The fares are very reasonable and the buses leave every few minutes so reservations will not be required. You can find more info online.

I took the Belfast to Dublin bus a week ago. It cost 10 euros and was a breeze. The bus is very comfortable with free wi-fi. Save the euros on airfare for the rest of the trip. No reservations necessary and is as described by the previous poster.

We are on a Rick's Europe Ireland tour in September. Have the same question following tour completion on Belfast to Dublin transportation--our tour packet from Rick will probably have more info when it arrives--the office said there will be shuttle info included. Did you decide what you are going to do Belfast to Dublin?

On your trip into Ireland, if you happen to be flying from London (LHR) to Dublin (DUB), have you selected an airline for that leg? We are traveling via United, Sacramento to London and stay a week there before the tour.

Thank you all for the replies! I appreciate it. We're going to take the bus from Belfast to Dublin to fly back home after our tour ends. We haven't booked any flights yet, but all the air fare sites lead me to believe we'll be flying on a non-US carrier.
