How do you search the forums?

It varies depending on what you're using to access the site -- on my phone there's a box on the top left of this page, click on it and put in what you want to find, for example "Paris hotel Latin Quarter" After you get a listing which shows how many posts include those words, you can refine by time period such as "last 6 months" to reduce to a manageable selection.

Duh number two! It's always annoyed me that I've gotten so many years-old posts when I've searched. I never knew you could filter by age of post, because if you don't use the first filter (type) you don't get the age-of-post choice. So thanks, Richard, for asking, and Laura B for answering!

Honestly, you're better off using Google many times (it has a greater chance of coming up with a relevant RS thread ...sadly the search engine here is just not good, I can't even find very narrowly framed posts that I made).
