As I've posted we will be on a cruise and stop in Cobh. A poster said it was closer to Ring of Kerry than Dublin. We would like to do the Ring of Kerry although we won't be able to stop except for lunch. How do I find a driver or tour guide to take us? Thank you.

I would go to TripAdvisor and check reviews, or just Google "ring of kerry tour guides". A lot of folks recommend Tours by Locals - not just the ones who do Ring of Kerry tours.

Have you looked at the shore excursion offered by your ship? We are taking a cruise in July. Our cruise docks at Cobh too. The description says "We'll step ashore and board a motorcoach, and set out with local experts on a panoramic journey around the famous Ring of Kerry."
If you take a private tour, be sure to have enough time to return before your ship leaves. The ship will not wait for you.
