I could not find any information in your guidebook about where to stay near Shannon. We are arriving at 4:40pm and want to see the Pan Am Museum in Foynes at the front end of our trip.

Rick's Ireland 2015 book includes some accommodations in the town of Ennis (p. 289) which is 20 minutes away by local bus #51. You can also see it on Google Maps. At Shannon airport, he suggests www.parkinn.com (p. 291).

You could also stay at one of the numerous B&Bs in the Bunratty area, six miles from the airport.
