My husband are looking for a 2 night stay in Dublin. Would like to be situated in downtown, close to attractions so that we can walk.
Mid price.
Thank you for any help!!!!!!
We recently stayed in Dublin at the Trinity City Hotel on Pearse Street. We were very pleased with the hotel in general. The lobby is interesting with the all the purple, heavy draperies and regal type seating, but our room was modern and very comfortable. The bar is very nice and relaxing. We liked it, also, because it was just around the corner from Trinity College. It was within walking distance to Temple Bar area and several old & historic pubs. It just a few blocks from the River Liffey. We thought the price was reasonable. We were there for 5 nights & found it to be centrally located to most things.
We found the Harcourt Hotel in Harcourt Street to be conveniently located and reasonably priced. The only drawback was noise from the bars along the street. It looks like a nice residential street in daytime, but after dark the bars open and the carousing continued until dawn's early light. But we were there on a weekend in warm, dry weather.
thank you for your input!!
Still looking so any other ideas are welcome!
