Hotel recommendations

We stayed at Albany house a number of years ago. It’s by St. Stephens Green and a short, easy walk to the college and historic center. We liked it.

Stayed at Waterloo House last year. Probably a 20 minute (scenic) walk to Trinity College. Nicely kept, small rooms. We used Uber (which calls a taxi) several times when going between spread out sites.

We stayed at the Maldron Pearse Street last year. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to Trinity College. We had 3 adult sons with us so needed multiple rooms. If you book on their website you get a discount. Breakfast was so-so but we had a great dinner in the restaurant after returning late one evening. Very nice staff too.

Four of us stayed at the Castle Hotel - same walk, nice breakfast, and decent price.

I don’t see information about air conditioning in the RS book. Is it now assumed all have it in Dublin?
