We did this tour in 2017 and cannot remember the name of the hotel in Kilkenny. I've looked on past posts and the names Club House Hotel and Kilford Arms come up but I don't think it was either. Can anyone else recall another hotel for that one night stop? Thank you.

I’ve never been on the tour, but when in Kilkenny in 2014, we stayed at the Pembroke Hotel, not too far from the castle.

When we were in Kilkenny, we stayed at what is now, Hibernian House. It too is around the corner from the castle. We had a nice meal at Kytelers Inn.

In 2017, this tour spent 3 nights in Dingle and none in Kilkenny. I went on it in September 2017 and remember that they reduced the nights in Dingle to 2 and 1 in Kilkenny for the 2018 tours.
This is why you don’t remember!

Thank you Judy. I was beginning to think I was losing it. As much as we enjoyed Dingle, I would have liked one night in Kilkenny. Three nights in Dingle and three nights in Dublin is good if you're happy with the accomodations. The Dingle hotel was nice, but we had to ask for a change in room as it was right next to the smoking area for employees. The hotel in Dublin was less than adequate. While the old original hotel was nice, they put all of us in the annex and it was less than desirable, having to go down stairs, through a tunnel and back up into a back section where our room overlooked an alley. Quite disappointing.
