I am looking for hotel and B&B recommendations for Dublin. Going very early May 2020. Hoping for reasonably priced, within walking distance to some sights, clean, nothing fancy. For a young couple, so stairs not a problem. Thanks in advance.

We have stayed at the Temple Bar Hotel twice. Nice accommodations, touristy/busy part of town but would recommend it

Anchor House b&b/guesthouse on Lower Gardiner street (north of the river) fits your price range. I found it very satisfactory, pleasant, friendly, conveniently located. No superlatives but no complaints. I found it conveniently enough located to walk everywhere I went but you could take buses if you wanted. You save a little money and/or get free breakfast by booking directly from their own website.
