Hi! We are looking for a week long (or so) horseback riding tour. Near Dingle would be great but we are open to other areas. We keep finding short horseback riding tours but are really looking for a trekking experience where you stay in different places each night. Does anyone know of any?

I don't know anyone who's done this but you can try this website if you haven't already. It looks like they have at least one, the Kerry Trail Ride that is 7 days/6 nts and stays in different places. Many of the their other selections are based out of one hotel and doing 6-8 hour day rides then returning to the same hotel. Not sure if this is what you had in mind but doesn't hurt to check it out.

If you want an organized ride, look at http://www.equitours.com/. They have been in business for years. We did a Donegal ride through them in 1992, after going to the Dublin Horse Show. Ours was a trekking ride staying at different inns each night. But looking at Equitours website, most Ireland rides look like they’re based. That may be better because you can ride out different directions each day and you won’t have to pack/unpack.
