Hey guys!
We are planning a honeymoon for mid October. We are 25 and love to explore and site see but also partake in as much as authentic past times as possible. What would your recommendations be as far as itinerary? A few days in Dublin and then a few in Galway or should we do the 7 day tour? We do not mind being a part of a group but maybe want some down time as well. Is the tour truly the best way to experience Ireland on our short time schedule? Will it be fun and upbeat enough for the two of us?
Greetings from Ireland!
Congrats on the Honeymoon. Bravo...
October is a great time to travel in Ireland, less crowds and prices drop quite considerably for hotels etc.
I often guide Ricks one-week tour and it really is excellent. A nice exploration of south-western Ireland and Dublins fair city. We don't go to Galway on the one week tour but you could visit it before or after by rental-car, or very easily with public transport.
Just drop me a line, if you have any questions or need any specific itinerary tips.
