My husband and I are planning to slow-travel Ireland and the UK for three months next year most likely sometime between January and April. We plan to stay in Ireland for one month and would love tips on a good singular home-base location for our stay. Our children will be almost 1 year and 4 years old when we go so we are looking for a home-base that’s family friendly and has easy access to numerous day trips. We are ok with having to do some overnight stays to see some parts of the country. We would also love suggestions for a home-base location in England and Scotland as we will be staying for one month each in these countries as well. Thanks for your help!
