Historical Walking Tour vs Pat Liddy tours, Dublin

Anyone gone on both? Which did you prefer?
Anybody else with comments about either?
Thanks.

I'd always recommend a historic walking tour. Walking is really the only way to see the cities up close. Of course, if you are able to - rent a car! That's the best way to see things on your own timeline. The Tourist Office in Dublin city centre can assist you with travel plans, road maps and "what to see."

If you're looking for a tour group - try Irish Day Tours. We had an incredible experience a few years ago. But, since that tour, we've now rented cars on each trip and done our own sightseeing. That also makes the experience a little more "local" and you don't feel like a tourist.

I went on the 1916 Rebellion Walking Tour last month.

I can highly recommend that tour. My guide was a young man named Liam. Very passionate about the subject.
