I have a small group that will be traveling to Ireland in 2027. We are looking for a driver with car/van to take us to a variety of sites in Ireland. It likely will be no more than a weeklong so also looking for suggestions of what to see in that week. How can I find a reputable driver?

You’ll need to look for a driver closer to the time of your trip and have specifics such as how many are traveling and what your itinerary is.
It may make sense to simply book a tour.

How many are in your 'small group'?
Are you looking for day tours or are you wanting your driver to accompany you around Ireland for the week.? That will increase the cost dramatically as you will also have to pay for the driver's accommodation (and may be meals...)
Have a look at this website which has quite a bit of helpful information.
Alternatively look at well regarded companies like Rabbies or Paddiwagon that also do privat hires as well as group holidays. .
NOTE - in the UK and Ireland the term van means a small vehicle with no windows.... MPV has windows and can seat 4-6 people BUT there is limited luggage space. Depending on the number in the group you may need to be loooking at a small mini bus...

Several years ago I hired Custom Irish Tours (then known as Beautiful Meath Tours) for a one day trip for 3 adults out of Dublin. The owner, Derek, was recommended to me by a former Rick Steves guide. Thanks for all the information. I do not have a confirmed group size as yet. We have an event we are attending on August 28th, 2027, so need to be in Dublin for that a few days prior. An organized group travel would be great if we can match dates otherwise, we will need to hire a driver and plan our own trip.
