Heritage island explorer guide update

(Do not confuse this with the Heritage Card)

In Rick's 2015 Ireland guide he talks about the Heritage Island Touring Guide. This needs to be updated (perhaps it has but I missed it.)
1. There is not a €7. Charge. It is free at most TI's. They simply give you a folder of all of the sites it covers and with tear off vouchers at the bottom of the page. It saved us 50% at the Waterford Crystal Factory (€10 for two people....and it is free!)
2. While Rick lists St. Candice Cathedral ((Kilkenny) and Number Twenty-nine Georgian House (Dublin )
They had never heard of the Heritage Island Guide and did not honor it

On another note the Heritage Card is a super deal if you will be in Ireland for almost any time (senior price€20). After using it twice it pays for itself. I have used it 4 times in my first 2 days out of Dublin.

I am just back from Ireland on Friday and agree about the Heritage Card. What a terrific deal.

We planned to pick up the Heritage Island Explorer guide at Powerscourt, (our first stop covered by it), but the woman in the ticket booth had no idea what I was talking about. Never did get to a TI to follow up on it.
