Should you plan to book rail travel, book as single vs return ticket. I booked a return ticket Dublin/Westport and went to change my return time to an earlier time (booked semi flex ticket) yet learned I was unable since they already scanned my outbound QR code. Never saw those details prior to booking. Sadly had to buy a replacement ticket.
Plus Irish rail does not have a food or drink trolley so come prepared!
