help with 7 night itinerary

We will be in Ireland for 7 nights, flying into Cork and out of Dublin. Our goal is to fall in love with Ireland. We generally prefer charming villages to cities and don't want to spend the whole time in the car. This is the tentative itinerary, but would love to hear from others that have been to Ireland. Thanks.

I think 7 days is rushed for this itinerary. I would eliminate Dingle and just do Kinsale-Kilkenny-Dublin (visit Wicklow Mountains/Glendalough on way to Dublin). Driving takes longer than you think and it is nice to take your time. Even though you don't love cities Dublin deserves a least 2 nights ~ Kilmainham Gaol was awesome and a bit outside of town so takes some extra time.
I fell in love with the west coast of Ireland so maybe you can do that next trip!

I agree with the above poster. Too much driving.
I am also doing Ireland this summer for 7 days, it will be my second trip there.
This is our itinerary. I am keeping it to just the Southwest area. There is so much to see.
Day 1; Flying into Shannon, am arrival
Drive to Dingle
Dinner, music, pubs
Day 2; Dingle
Slea Head Drive
Day 3; Dingle
Day 4; Drive to Killarney
See Gap of Dunloe
Day 5; Drive to Kinsale
Explore Kinsale
Day 6; Kinsale
Day 7; Drive to Shannon area(this will be a long day of driving)
Day 8: depart
Depending on what you want to see and do......I would do the county of Cork and work your way back towards Dublin. Wicklow mountains are supposed to be beautiful!
