If flight to Shannon airport has one stop in Heathrow, is 1 hr. 50 minutes layover enough to get from British Airways to Aer Lingus flight?
1- One ticket or two?
2- Checked luggage?

.3. Same terminal?
Going from terminal 5 to terminal 2. Heathrow website says it takes 20 minutes via airport train.
The 20 minute train ride is just one part of the overall process.
Immigration and security screening plus the the time to get from the plane to the train and then from the train to the gate will make it more than a 20 minute process.
If you are doing this on a single ticket, you will have to be moving briskly the entire time.
If it's 2 tickets, it's not too early to start praying and exploring you Plan B options
Ha! I prefer not to pray at Heathrow. Will opt for a longer layover. Thanks, all.
