Heated Towel/Drying Racks in Northern Ireland??

This is a very random question that I haven't been able to locate an answer to.

In 2018 we traveled to Scotland and all of the bathrooms in the hotels and b&b's we stayed at had stainless steel heated towel racks in the bathrooms. These were useful because it enabled us to do light washing and hang our clothes to dry. We have been to Ireland and did not come across them. This trip we will be in Ireland and Northern Ireland....Are heated towel racks standzrd jn Northern Ireland bathrooms due to it being part of the UK or no?

They aren't "standard" anywhere in the UK but they aren't uncommon. It will vary by hotel.

Maybe contact the hotels once you have drawn up a shortlist and contact them before booking?

Definitely one to check with each hotel. Agree that they are very handy when available!

Also note that even if they have them, they are not always working because they are often turned on seasonally. We had a hotel that had some in Austria, but were there in September and they had not been turned on for the winter season yet.
