Have an *Extra* Day in Dublin

I'm traveling to Dublin with my teenaged daughter mid March. We already have 2 days in Dublin planned with local venues and a 3rd day going to Newgrange. We have 1 more day in Dublin before we head West (Galway, Cliffs of Moher etc.) and am wondering if we should keep it low key and do some more Dublin exploring or take a day trip to someplace like Howth or to Kilkenny with a tour. Are 3 days exploring Dublin too many and/or is Kilkenny such a not miss we take a day trip from Dublin? Thanks!

Do a day trip to Belfast. You will both enjoy the Titantic Experience. Easy to get there by bus or train.

Are you planning something to Glendalough/Wicklow? If not, you can take a Bus Eireann tour from the main bus station. It cost 31 euros and is a full day trip (expect to be back before dinner). I went on their tour to Newgrange (Bru na Boinne), Tara and Battle of the Boyne. It was a good value with plenty of time to see the sights and introduction to the sights by the driver. I'm going back in May and thought I'd do the Wicklow tour this time.
