is the handicap parking sign used here, also valid in Ireland?
We don't want to take it and find out it's against the law to use in Ireland.
Has anyone done this?

There was a similar question, with the answer in the end being somewhat murky.
Since then, I did run across this website that addresses the issue: http://www.disabledmotorists.eu/en/world_map/europe/ireland.htm
It appears that generally (again, a bit murky) that Ireland will honor your placard. Your placard does need to have the "wheelchair" symbol, which I believe is standard in the US, and the website has another notice that you print out and place with the placard. They also appear to put the Placard in the window (on the dash) of the drivers side, not hanging from the mirror. Not sure if "Temporary" disability placards are treated the same.
Thank you. We used it twice, but I still feel uneasy. It does have the wheelchair design on it.
